Travelling to Courseulles sur Mer

By far the most convenient route from the UK is Portsmouth-Ouistreham (Caen ferry port) using Brittany Ferries www.holidayfrancedirect.co.uk(get a 20% discount with my travel account number).
You are left with a 10 mile drive along the coast & arrive at Courseulles in less than half an hour.

The crossing from Portsmouth takes about 6 hours on very large & comfortable ships. A shorter sea crossing is Portsmouth-Cherbourg (also Brittany Ferries) which leaves a 90 minute drive to Courseulles.
Cheaper options are to use LD Lines who have a Portsmouth-le Havre & a Newhaven-Dieppe service. The shorter sea crossings from Dover leave a 4 hour drive from Calais or Boulogne with autoroute all the way to Caen. If you really do not want to go by sea eurotunnel.com.

There are currently no airlines flying to Caen from the UK.
